Some curious facts for you:
1. Russia & US account for almost 25% of the world's O&G.
2. Fort Ross, which today hosts the world's largest companies like Apple and Google, was sold to the US by Russia in 1841.
3. 20,000 years ago homo sapiens crossed over into North America from what is now Russia via the Bering Strait.
4. Sanctions on Russia effect less than 1% of O&G production, opening up a window of opportunity.
